A Werther’s Hot Toddy is the perfect drink for cold winter nights. Add a Werther’s Original Butter Candy to your next cup for an extra boost of delicious caramel flavour, it’s the perfect addition and makes the drink even better to cuddle up with!
This will take a bit of pre-planning as you need to dissolve the sweets in the whisky first, which can take up to 24 hours depending on how often you stir the mix. Alternatively, check out our Homemade Liqueurs page for instructions for making sweet based liqueurs to add instead of the dissolved Werther’s.
Ingredients:
- 5 x Werther’s Original Butter Candies (dissolved in a small amount of whiskey (50ml would be a good amount)).
- 50ml Whisky or bourbon (not as well as the previous line, instead of).
- Lemonade to fill
- Lemon slices and cinnamon stick to decorate
Method:
- Put all of the ingredients into your Milk Frother and then top up with lemonade to the max mark.
- Press the start button and wait until finished.
- Meanwhile, heat up your glass using water from a kettle.
- When your milk frother has finished, pour into your warmed glass and decorate with lemon slices and a cinnamon stick.
- Enjoy your Werther’s Hot Toddy.
