Mulled Rosé is a variation on the Mulled Wine theme but with some subtle taste variations. This is far easier to drink than normal Mulled Wine recipes due to the lighter flavourings from the wine but don’t make the mistake of overdoing it, this is still pretty powerful stuff.
Ingredients:
- 50ml Cherry Brandy or Grand Marnier
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Rosé Wine to top up
Method:
- Put the brandy or Grand Marnier into your Milk Frother and then top up with apple & rhubarb juice to the max mark.
- Replace the lid and then press the start button and wait until finished.
- Meanwhile, heat up your glass using hot water from a kettle.
- When your milk frother has finished, empty the water out of the glass and fill with your Hot Cocktail.
- Enjoy your Mulled Rosé.
Mark’s Top Tip: The original recipe from Taste calls for a long list of spices, cinnamon, star anise and cloves which could all be replaced by 30ml of Winter Spice syrup. They have also added apple & orange juices which are all valid considerations. Try adding apple or orange or both and see which you prefer. Alternatively, as a nod to the original recipe decorate the glass with slices of apple and or orange.
