Autumn is the ideal time to enjoy a hot glass of cider but this recipe with added cinnamon & whisky can be made on any day of the week. This recipe for Hot Fireball Cider will certainly warm you up.
The recipe was taken from Grumpyshoneybunch.com It was so simple to prepare, there are only two ingredients but that didn’t stop us trying varying ratios of Fireball Whisky and Cider until we got the mix just right.
Ingredients:
- 60ml Fireball Whisky
- Cider to fill
Method:
- Put the Fireball Whisky into a milk frother and then top the liquid level up to the max with cider.
- Replace the lid and press start.
- Wait until your milk frother has finished and strain straight into your preheated glass.
- Decorate your glass with a cinnamon stick or slice of fresh apple.
- Enjoy your Hot Fireball Cider.
Try different ciders, dry, sweet or medium and add sugar to the drier ciders if need be.
Lucy’s Top Tip:– You won’t need to drink many of these, the burning sensation as your Hot Fireball Cider flows down your throat is incredible. To save you having to buy a whole bottle of Fireball Whisky try, as an alternative, adding cinnamon and whisky into the milk frother instead of Fireball. Limit yourselves, this is potent stuff.
Mark’s Top Tip:- This recipe as it is will be one to remember but take it to the next level with a generous slug of caramel syrup.
