As puddings go, you would be hard pressed to top a good Apple & Rhubarb Crumble, topped with lashings of double cream. If you don’t have the ingredients, or time, to make the full blown dessert, why not just give this cocktail a try. All the taste with none of the washing up, result!

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Calvados
  • Apple & Rhubarb juice to top up
  • Double cream to finish

Method:

  1. Put the calvados into your Milk Frother and then top up with apple & rhubarb juice to the max mark.
  2. Replace the lid and then press the start button and wait until finished.
  3. Meanwhile, heat up your glass using hot water from a kettle.
  4. When your milk frother has finished, empty the water out of the glass and fill with your Hot Cocktail.
  5. Carefully pour over the double cream
  6. Enjoy your Apple & Rhubarb Crumble Cocktail.

Lucy’s Top Tip: As an alternative, if you cannot get pre-made apple & rhubarb juice, try adding apple & rhubarb cider. Failing that, use 25ml rhubarb syrup and top up with apple juice.

To ring the changes, why not try turning this into an apple and blackberry crumble with 25ml blackberry syrup or even apricot crumble by replacing the calvados with 25ml apricot brandy and 25ml amaretto, topped up with apple juice.
